Who We Are

Solid State Electric Inc. is a family run business in the Perth area. Solid State Electric opened its doors in 2016, founded by Master Electrician Rick Potoma.

Rick holds a 309A Construction & Maintenance Electrical license, and Master Electrician license.

He has also done numerous courses and training programs in controls and robot programming, including a PLC Certificate from Mohawk College, and PLC Technician from George Brown College. He is part of the Systems Integrator program for Rockwell Automation.

Solid State Electric Inc. employs a cross functional team of Electricians and Apprentices with expertise in the following areas:

• Residential electrical installations and upgrades
• Back-up Generators
• New consruction builds and commercial applications
• Industrial and manufacturing systems, to name  a few
